北海市有很丰富的滩涂资源，这里常年吸引人们前往赶海。滩涂是属于潮间带的一部分，是在潮汐大潮期的绝对高潮和绝对低潮间露出的海岸。海水涨潮到最高位（高潮线）和退潮时退至最低位（低潮线）之间，会曝露在空气中的海岸部分。而这是一片生物活动特别丰富的区域，也构成了大海和陆地之间有机过渡的地带。

Beihai city is rich in beach resources, which attracts people to catch up with the sea all the year round. Beach is a part of intertidal zone, which is exposed between the absolute high tide and the absolute low tide. The part of the coast that is exposed to the air between the highest tide (high tide line) and the lowest tide (low tide line). This is an area with abundant biological activities, which also constitutes an organic transition zone between the sea and the land.

潮间带自然馆是一个轻松的建筑，为到来这里的人们提供登高观景的平台，还有休息品尝海鲜的餐厅，最精彩的还有以潮间带生物为主题的艺术品，但这里绝对是密集恐惧症患者慎入。

The intertidal zone nature museum is a relaxed building, which provides people here with a platform for climbing and sightseeing, a restaurant for relaxing and tasting seafood, and the most wonderful works of art with intertidal zone biology as the theme. However, it is definitely a place for people with intensive phobia to enter carefully.

自然馆工作人员告诉我们，随着海水温度的加速升高，自然环境下的珊瑚礁和潮间带原生群落生态区域在不断的缩小。他们正在和时间赛跑，进行人工辅助下的自然生态环境恢复。即珊瑚和原生动植物的人工繁育，并补充到自然环境中。自然馆的设立目的是希望有更多的人关注这个领域，使其有足够的力量去保护地球上这个原本最具有生机的自然生态圈。

The staff of the nature museum told us that with the accelerated rise of sea water temperature, the ecological areas of coral reefs and intertidal primary communities in the natural environment are shrinking. They are racing against time to restore the natural ecological environment with artificial assistance. That is, artificial breeding of corals and original vivid plants and supplement them to the natural environment. The purpose of the nature museum is to hope that more people will pay attention to this field and make it have enough strength to protect the most vibrant natural ecosystem on the earth.
